Christine and Nigel will be back this Sunday serving hot drinks and delicious home baked cake and savouries in the Education Centre classroom between 10am and 3pm, so if you are planning to visit do bring a little extra cash and call in and see them. They will also have a selection of Christmas cards and calendars for sale, along with some bird boxes and FSC identification guides, again please bring cash.
The bittern has been showing well at times from Ivy North Hide, I popped over a couple of times on Sunday but managed to miss it – today though Jo and I had more luck and in calling in after lunch were treated to a great view when the sun came out.
So, if you’re here on Sunday hoping for a glimpse and get a bit cold whilst sat in the hide, you will be able to warm up in the Education Centre with a nice cup of tea or coffee!
