Today ended with the exciting news that there was a Franklin’s gull over Ibsley Water with fantastic views seen from the Tern Hide. Ed rushed over to see it and got a brilliant photo which I’m sure he will share. If anyone has an even better photo please send it in!

That is probably the wildlife highlight of the last couple of days. Tracy and I have been busy running ‘Wild Days Out’, our holiday activity days, which had a Halloween twist and were a lot of fun!

We also carved shrunken apple heads, built dens, played in the mud, climbed trees, painted our faces and cooked toffee apples and toast over the camp fire!
