…but no tail!
Todays “headline” photo and story is courtesy of regular visitor and photographer Alan Sutton who spotted this rather unusual “long tailed tit” amongst the flock of other more usual looking ones earlier today. One to look out for next time you are visiting and in the meantime I look forward to your thoughts on how it lost its tail in the first place!
Other news today largely centres around Ivy North Hide where visitors have enjoyed seeing a bittern, great white egret, water rail and a sparrow hawk amongst other things.
Otherwise everything is generally as previously reported – with no news yet on Goosander Hide, which remains closed for now.
