Another osprey!

The highlights from Ibsley Water today were 4 common sandpipers, 4 goosanders, a hobby and best of all an osprey in the afternoon. I managed to get a pretty poor photo of the osprey while moving the ponies, it was just a bit too high up unfortunately. Hopefully it’ll hang around for a wee while longer.

A poor record shot of today’s osprey

The moth trap held pretty much the same species as yesterday but also unfortunately 9 hornets, which had eaten some of the moths. And to top it off a robin ate some more moths while I was writing up the catch results!
