….the trees are finally starting to get dressed into their new 2013 leafy coats! I decided this sign of new life needed to be celebrated with a montage of these brand new miniature leaves!

Lastly as I rolled over a log and peered underneath I was very pleased to be reacquainted with my friend the pill millipede. Like the new perfectly formed leaves I am always amazed at how perfectly neatly the pill millipede can roll into a ball to protect itself from danger. This one seemed to have a comfort stick that it was holding on to for extra protection!
